W1 won the contract to provide a sound system for this stunning new venue in Bury St Edmunds.

W1's Tom Matthews, working closely with venue technical manger Tim Carr, and Al Brown from Martin Audio designed a twelve box Martin LM system, with four flown WMX subs. Martin DD6 boxes were used to great effect for balcony and front fill. Wedges are the new, low profile Martin LE1200.

Tom chose Martin processing and Crown amplification all controlled from a 32 channel Soundcraft Si compact.

The results speak for themselves, in a venue that handles everything from rock n' roll to conference, the system has proved a big hit, providing clear, loud intelligble sound to all parts of the room whether the source is speech, or a kick drum!
